Andrea LaRose

Drea LaRose is an upstate New York based artist working in photography, sculpture and public work. Her art has been shown in numerous exhibitions throughout the region, most notably at Ning Gallery in New York, NY, The University Art Museum in Albany, NY, the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy, and the Schweinfurth Arts Center in Auburn NY. LaRose was awarded a two month artist residency at Sculpture Space Inc. in Utica, NY where her most recent public work is installed through 2020. She received her MFA from SUNY Albany where she was awarded the Distinguished MFA Thesis Award and the Terri Cosma Boor and Judy Brust Emerging Artist Award. She is currently teaching painting at SUNY New Paltz and working and living in Troy, NY.

Sara Duell

Sara Duell (born in Stockholm, Sweden 1987) works at the intersection of art and graphic design, with a focus on visual literacy and social justice. Working within a feminist, antiracist framework, Sara uses design to disrupt normative discourses and create transformative, pleasurable spaces. She also writes about the hidden politics of visual language and published writing in Design Observer and the Photobook review.

She has a bachelor degree in communication design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (Vancouver, Canada) and lives in New York City. In the last year she co-founded WMN - a zine that showcases work from lesbian artist and poets living in rural areas and cities with a population of 800000 or less. The zine was written up in Autostraddle, “the world’s most popular lesbian website” and the Canadian magazine Broken Pencil. She attended Vermont Studio center in 2018 where she made a series of satirical metal posters that reference a large array of multilayered sources: from heavy metal aesthetics to feminist theory of the body to the work of classicist and poet Anne Carson. Beyong that she designed a photobook that features flying muscle cars (a finalist in the Lucie Photo Book Prize) by photographer Matthew Porter. She also hosted a talk with the Swedish design studio and artist group Bastion Bastion Agency on feminist form at Ten10 Studios in October.

Mär Martinez is a nationally-exhibiting interdisciplinary artist specializing in sculptural painting. Martinez’s paintings dissect dominance, aggression and power dynamics through the lens of a culturally-enforced binary system. Currently Martinez is pursuing a BFA in Painting and Art History at the University of Central Florida. Yunkyoung Cho

YunKyoung Cho was raised in Busan, South Korea. Cho has dedicated her life expressing beauty in the physical form carefully designed with aesthetic, technical, and symbolic aspects. Cho studied her undergraduate degree in Beauty Art practicing body painting, hair sculpting, and aesthetics research and design to explore the art of the human body. Upon graduation, she traveled the world to study different cultures and perceptions of art around the globe. Her talent has been measured and competed in early stage of work by receiving many prizes and awards from various competitions, including 3rd prize in Body Painting at Korean Make-up Competition, Seoul, South Korea (2008); 1st prize in Fashion Tattoo Creative Design at International Beauty Olympic, Changwon, South Korea (2008); 1st prize in Mixed Media at Beauty Art Festival, Busan, South Korea (2008); Vermont Studio Center Fellowship(2020) Major exhibitions of her work which includes Reminiscence at Solo Show, Baltimore, MD (2019); Selected group show hosted by the Embassy of Republic Korea at Korean Culture Center, Washington DC (2020). Cho is currently at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States to pursue her MFA in Rinehart Sculpture Program anticipating graduation in May 2020.

Jill Grimes

Born in Texas, Jill Grimes received a BFA in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA in Painting from Boston University. She has exhibited her paintings throughout New England and the US, most recently at the Alpha Gallery in Boston, Holy Family University in Philadelphia, and The Dibden Center for the Arts at Johnson State College in Vermont. Her work has been reviewed by the Boston Globe and Art New England, and has been featured in New American Paintings and 100 Boston Painters. She has been awarded artist residencies at the Catskill Center for Conservation in New York State, and twice at The Vermont Studio Center. She is a 2014 recipient of the Blanche E. Colman Award. Grimes is a Lecturer at Boston University College of Fine Arts, where she has been teaching since 2006. She has also taught painting and drawing abroad in Venice and Umbria, Italy, for Boston University and the International School of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture. She is represented by Alpha Gallery in Boston.

Adrian White

Los Angeles based photographer Adrian White creates portraiture primarily dealing with memory, trauma and history from the perspective of people of the African diaspora.  His goal is to connect with his ancestors by remembering the past, documenting the present and imaging a utopian future.

 White was born and raised in the small tobacco and cotton town of Stantonsburg, NC.  He studied at North Carolina Central University (BA, 2002), Brooks Institute of Photography  (BFA 2014) and Parsons School of Design (MFA in Photography and Related Media 2019).

Sarah Ingraham

Sarah Ingraham grew up in Cumberland, Maine. Ingraham received my BA at the University of Vermont in studio art and art history in 2017. While there, Ingraham attended a semester abroad at Central Saint Martins of the University of Arts London. Since then Ingraham has been living in Brooklyn, first working as a wallpaper designer, now as an artist assistant, while also selling rugs and paintings.

Sara Minsky

Sara Minsky is an artist and educator from the Riverdale section of the Bronx. She received her Masters in Art Education from City College and was a 2020 artist in residence with Trestle Art Space and Proyecto 'ace.
